You’ve been lied to, “your” whole life …

From childhood on, you’ve been told that you are someone, that you can become something. That you are a separate entity, looking out at an external world—a ‘you’ who is responsible for what you are thinking, what you feel, how you behave, and so on and so forth.

That is what people believe to be normal, but it isn’t. It’s a lie, there is no you, let alone responsibility. It is a lie that is so convincing that it is rarely questioned. You are taught to manage life, to make the right decisions, to steer your body. That whole setup is just a made-up concept.

That basic assumption is completely dreamed.

There is no ‘I’ inside the body; it has no substance. It is a dreamed thought arising out of a tension in the body, a thought claiming ownership of an action that isn’t initiated—it just apparently happens. There is no manager pulling the strings. The body simply moves, thoughts simply appear and disappear. Everything just happens. Even the lie that there is a ‘you’ who can make it happen, simply happens.

Much love. 🧡 N.R.
